Short answer: all three connect to QuickBooks Online out of the box, mostly in one direction. ServiceTitan has the widest set of native accounting integrations and a full developer API. Jobber offers a GraphQL API and an app marketplace. Housecall Pro opens its API and Zapier only on its top plan. Which one is "best" depends less on the logo and more on what you need connected beyond accounting.
Here is how they compare as of October 2026, based on each vendor's own documentation, and when custom integration work makes sense.
| Factor | ServiceTitan | Housecall Pro | Jobber |
|---|---|---|---|
| QuickBooks Online | Native, batch export | Native, Essentials and Max plans | Native, Connect plan and up |
| QuickBooks Desktop | Native | Native | Not supported |
| Other accounting | NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Viewpoint Vista and Spectrum, and others | QuickBooks focus | QuickBooks Online focus |
| Sync direction | Exports into accounting | "Typically" one-way | One-way |
| Developer API | Yes, via developer portal, admin-approved apps | Max plan only | Yes, GraphQL with OAuth |
| App marketplace | Yes | Integrations listed; Zapier on Max | Yes |
| Best fit | Larger, multi-trade, complex accounting | Smaller shops on QuickBooks | Smaller shops on QuickBooks Online |

ServiceTitan lists native integrations with QuickBooks Online and Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Viewpoint Vista and Spectrum, with others marked coming soon. Systems without a native connector can be fed through journal entries or a general CSV export (ServiceTitan accounting integrations).
The QuickBooks Online connection works by batching, reviewing and exporting transactions. Some items do not cross: ServiceTitan's documentation says inventory adjustments do not export to QuickBooks Online (ServiceTitan help).
For anything else, there is a developer API. An admin grants API permissions, registers an app in the developer portal and approves its access to the tenant (ServiceTitan API dev portal). That makes custom payroll, CRM and reporting connections practical.
Housecall Pro syncs invoices, payments, new customers and new price book items to QuickBooks Online, and supports QuickBooks Desktop. The sync typically runs one way. Its help center lists limits worth knowing: invoice edits after the first sync need a manual re-sync, and deleted or cancelled invoices must also be removed in QuickBooks by hand (Housecall Pro help).
For other connections, Housecall Pro's pricing page puts full API access and Zapier on the Max plan only (Housecall Pro pricing). On lower plans, custom integration options are limited.
Jobber's QuickBooks Online sync covers clients, invoices, payments and more, and is described as an automatic one-way sync. Jobber does not sync to QuickBooks Desktop (Jobber QuickBooks sync).
Jobber offers a GraphQL API with OAuth 2.0 and an app marketplace for published apps (Jobber developer center). Custom connections are possible within what the API exposes.
Not sure which gaps are worth closing? The Profit Map is Pixelum's fixed-fee operations diagnostic. We map your systems, count the manual re-keying, and show where margin is leaking, before you commit to any software or integration.
Pixelum does. We connect these platforms to accounting, payroll and CRM, starting with the native integrations and building only what they do not cover.
All three connect natively to QuickBooks Online. ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro also support QuickBooks Desktop; Jobber does not. ServiceTitan supports the widest range of other accounting systems.
Yes, on the Max plan. Housecall Pro's pricing page lists full API access and Zapier as Max features.
Yes. Jobber provides a GraphQL API with OAuth 2.0 authentication, and apps can be listed in its App Marketplace.
Yes, through native features, marketplace apps or its API. Custom work makes sense when your pay rules or payroll provider fall outside what those cover.
